This magical little faceted multicolored lantern looks different from every angle - all of the photos you see here are of one single lantern. The shape reminds me of the deck prisms that mariners used for centuries, to illuminate areas below deck. Mine, though, contains a string of 20 Christmas lights so you can plug it in anywhere you want to add some magical illumination.
To make this light, I select and hand cut 8 different colored pieces of art glass, then foil and solder them and finish the seams with a pewter patina. There's an opening in the back for the cord to run through, so your lantern will sit flat on any surface you choose to display it on.
No two are ever alike; yours won't look exactly like the one in the photo. Each one is a handmade, unique work of art, and colors and textures may vary. Let me know if you'd like me to send you a photo of your lantern before it ships.
