Lighted Gem: Stained Glass Small Dragon Egg Lamp

This magical little faceted multicolored lantern looks different from every angle - all of the photos you see here are of one single lantern. I select and hand cut 12 different colored pieces of art glass, then foil and solder them and finish the seams with a pewter patina. To illuminate it, I fill it with a string of 20 Christmas lights. There's an opening in the back for the cord to run through, so your lantern will sit flat on any surface you choose to display it on.
