Lighted Gem: Stained Glass Rock Candy Lamp

This glowing little multicolored lantern looks different from every angle - all of the photos you see here are of one single lantern. It's like a special little sparkling crystal to sit on your desk, your bedside, or any spot in your home that could use a little magic. I select and hand cut 10 different colored pieces of art glass, then foil and solder them and finish the seams with a pewter patina. To illuminate it, I fill it with a string of 20 Christmas lights. There's a notch in the bottom for the cord to run through, so your lantern will sit flat on any surface you choose to display it on.
